Heisman Trophy

Well Tim Tebow won. To be honest (being from AR.) I was really pulling for Darren McFadden. McFadden came in second last year and I was really hoping this year would be his year. I figure he will be going to the NFL next year so this was probably his last opportunity for the Heisman. Not to say that Tim Tebow doesn’t deserve the Heisman. He is a great quarterback and seems like a great person off the field.

No matter what… it was a very interesting season this year. Now if only the Razorbacks could find a head coach instead of getting raises for other head coach’s that would be great.

Agreed. Tebow is a beast. McFadden reminds me of Adrian Peterson of OU last year. He is bigger and faster than everyone else. Both are studs. Tebow is just a sophomore so we might be looking at repeat Heisman winners.

McFadden will have a much better NFL career than Tebow will. Tebow is a system quarterback and those don't do too well in the NFL. But congrats to Tebow..

You know, I've thought of that also. McFadden is an all around versatile player and more than likely a number 1 draft pick. He will undoubtedly have a terrific NFL career. But even though Tebow might be a "system" quarterback, I think he should do well in the NFL with the right coaching and team.

Both McFadden and Tebow are real good athletes! McFadden is an amazing all around player but i am glad Tebow won I have always liked watching him play!

Neither was a real stand out. I believe if dixon would have stayed healthy he would have been the man. But my props to Colt Brennan. He brought his team from nothing to darn near the top. Hats off to him. Poor guy will probably end up being a Falcon

the heisman is a joke...defense wins championships and yet no defensive player has ever won a heisman

When comparing true QB's to true QB's, it's a general consensus that colt brennan will have a more successful NFL career than tim tebow will. I think the "system qb" argument will grow against tebow. Tebow is great, but I think his rushing will be seriously throttled in the NFL and brennan's pass % will prevail. Just my $.02 from a sour big-10 fan.
