Hd tv experts?

I have an older HD tv in my man cave, it only has one HDMI port on the back so I got a 4 port switcher from Best Buy so I can switch from the cable box to the blue ray player (blue ray player has net capabilities) so I don't have to unplug one to watch the other each time. The blue ray works fine but audio and video on the cable box is intermittent. I have tried two switchers. This happen to you? Thanks

Its a delay in the tv's ability to process the delayed signal reception. Essentially the only way to actually fix it is to get a newer tv with multiple HDMI interfaces. Sorry to say this but I ran this gamut quite some time ago.

You can't find a better time to buy one - - the prices are ridiculously low. Get a good one.

The only real solution is to sit farther away from it.....allowing the sound to catch up with the pics......

Actually, you'd want the screen farther away and the speakers really close. Light is faster than sound. Not sure just how many thousand miles difference you would need though.

I tried some of your ideas but no dice.... Weird as it didn't seem to matter where I sat. Got a good deal on a 47" LG, looks huge in the little cave. Still need a sub woofer to go with the soundbar

Sorry to hear you had to put your older set down.
At least you have the memories of when it was younger and at the top of its game.
Hopefully your wife is understanding and will recognize how painful your decision was.
In fact if she really cares about your wounded heart she would force you to get a new sound bar.
One like the Atlantic Technology PB-235 PowerBar or better so you won't need a subwoofer.
Maybe a beer will help you to get over the hurt.

We had an RCA that lasted into the 80's, built like a piece of furniture.

When it finally gave out it sat in our garage til my folks moved to MT in '98 and mom said dad almost paid to have it moved there.

We could have taken the tube out and stored the two boxes of bent nails, black widows and cat poop dad did pay to have moved to MT...

In the late 60's I worked for Conrac Corp that used to make the Fleetwood Color Television Kit.

I always thought that Curtis Mathis was related to Johnny Mathis.
