We have one of these beauties. It does them soft, medium or hard perfect every time and fast. No more cracked eggs in boiling water.

How about a tuna sandwich, with some garlic salt and sweet basil mixed into the tuna/mayo combo. Then add some black pepper, sweet pickles, and medium cheddar cheese.

Toasted, this makes one heck of a combination.

The balancing act should have stopped about 6-7 PM central time and the egg should have just lazily rolled over...mine did... My mother in law, God rest her soul, taught me this just after I met her daughter (my wife of 25 years). My son has performed this trick at least 12 of his 18 years and is still enthralled by it. He even once called me into the kitchen to see that he had "balanced" another egg on top of the original one. Cute try till I noticed the small dab of hot glue between the 2 shells. The entire contraption did ease its way over as gravity took back over..... I have had as many as a full dozen standing at attention one year...

Good luck next time, you have another attempt coming up in spring..LOL
