Raining here pretty good. It looks like a good morning to go sift through the boxes of parts in the shop for the engine bay wiring harness and a few other thing I will need to put the front clip back on my RC project.

Might get some more rain this afternoon through tomorrow. Drier than a popcorn fart out there. All burning has been banned. The fire bombers are fully staffed and on high alert. We have had 2 fires locally, one just up the river from here. Both idiot caused. On a lighter note, the house behind us was raided again as a drug lab. The AST warned the neighborhood there may be trouble from these people.

Took DW to breakfast. Doing the laundry and cleaning the kitchen. Hope she enjoys her day off!

Fires are unbelievable up in Alberta. Wow, horrible. Seen some tough ones but nothing like those. Hope Scotty stays out of harms way.

Great concert tonight - - just got home. A singer that is the "little" brother of a guy that sang in a quartet that I played the piano for many years ago. Big gospel quartet that has been touring the US. Neat to meet him - - lives here in Venice now. Did a good job.

Celebrated my Anniversary not quite 2 weeks ago..started it off by falling down the stairs [duhhh] Thank goodness I landed on my head and didn't hurt anything important [laugh]

Rebuilding the hydraulic cylinder on my Mercury power tilt/trim unit, got tired of it leaking down.

Wow Lary - - can't keep up with all this voting stuff. Tuesday - - YEP, more. Interesting all the hype and worse the stupid statements and attitudes of some of the Republican leaders. Very very disappointed in several of them like Ryan. I had great respect for him which has now soured to wondering how someone can change so quickly - - OH YEH - - - it threatens him. Gorgeous morning here - - just came in from a long bike ride - - how loverrly. Sat a while on the bench at the lake in our subdivision and watched the gators and birds --- Florida - - so much variety in wildlife. Love it.

good mid-morning all. Never had so many interviews in my life... interesting how a guy can have years of experience but is not qualified because he chose NOT to donate to a university. 20 year in construction, 15 years in real estate appraisal, 20 years of business ownership, and eight years in the oil field. I was asked two questions: your only 47, how can you have that much experience, and when do you plan on finishing your degree.

I replied, the fact that you asked the first question should indicate my answer to the second...
