Heidi, supper sounds delicious! Makin' Pot roast w/ parsely and garlic red potatoes, and Carrots.

Got the old Bolens snow blower running tonight. Darn thing has sat in dads barn for close to 15 or more yrs. Changed oil in it, put a little gas in, cleaned the plug for now and she fired up after about 10 pulls. The machine is only running on full choke though. As soon as you open up the choke it dies. Gonna pull the carb off and have dad rebuild it, he's good with carbs, I suck with them lol. I can imagine it has about 15 or so yrs of crap in it. Not a bad machine otherwise, very clean and smooth running. I just need two new tubes for the tires and the carb rebuilt. Now that I have it running dad will want it back, he's not though, he had all this time to get it going and didn't. He said if i get it goin its mine.

Mom and dad leave tomorrow morning for Arizona (AGAIN). They are going out there to sign the paper work and pay for the land they just bought. They got 38 acres at what is called Las Vegas Ranch near Prescott AZ. They got a little history on the land today, they found out its an old Railroad Right of Way. I guess the Santa Fe owned it back in the late 1800's. Kinda cool that my parents are retiring on some old RR property. Dinner is ready and so is the beer.

 

Slow night. Evening whoever may be out there.

Just got in from school. Good day. Got a lot accomplished. Semester is winding down, gotta finish with a bang. Taking some time to watch MNF. Hope everyone is havin a good evening.

The coffee's to relax when looking at everything else. The donut cage hasn't been cleaned (I don't even want to LOOK at the dragon's), probably haven't been fed either. Sprinkly's haven't been stocked... buffer's MIA...

 

I just started reading the toolbox recipe thread, some good stuff in there. One of these days I'll add my BBQ ribs, BBQ sauce, my pots roast and my garlic parsley red taters.

Yeah, mom even said its kinda strange they got old RR RoW property.

It'll be a few yrs before they get a house and all built on it, they have about 4 more yrs here, by then mom will be 54 and dad 58. He wants someone to build the house for him but he wants to do all the finish work to it on the inside, He wants to build himself a little shop, and most of all just relax and walk around his property and not worry about the headaches of his business anymore. But when they get out there and the GF and I come visit we will have to get a DTR drinkin party going!

 

Not you of course. That would be rude.
