Lord! Leave for a couple of months and you guys get into all kinds of mischief. Just got back from traveling (WA, OR, NV, CA, AZ and NM). First thing I did was get on DTR, and see that picture. We saw him in Canada—I swear! So many posts I cant go through them all so can only hope everybody has been doing well. Good night to all.

 

Yea, he is a good sport about it... I have seen some people on forums that would have sulled up and overloaded the admin with reported posts and all kinds of crying.

venino roast on mushrooms with a wee bit of pepper and beef bouillion, red and green peppers over that. in the oven at 350 for one hour-- fresh rolls did that gravy good, roast was fork tender. husband pronounced it good. raspberry pie with cool whip makes me full and guilty.

Scott, you're too late. They had EB 94 shut down at Jackson most of the night for semi's piled up. 196 just south of 31 for a bit too. It was bad here, real bad at Plainwell and points south, and north of Big Rapids. Real, real bad above Cadillac. White Thanksgiving this year.

-5* and falling here. Going down to a decent -25* or so tonight supposedly. Time to start finding out who's really ready for winter.

900* inside again. I hate being this hot. Really sucks when you sweat through a uniform just sitting still, not to mention when you've been as busy as I have been the last couple days. Guess that's why they call it work. Got tonight and tomorrow night and then I'm off again.

Got a couple of thing to do this week off. I need to finnish the remodel of my entry way so Mama can paint before I trim it. After that, I'm moving my laundry room to the spare room that we use for an office. That should free up some more room in my garage. always a good thing...

Great! I like chuky coffee. Saves a lot of time not having to search for a meal.

 

Yeah coffee should stick to the ribs. I readily admit I'm not ready for winter, but it's here. At least I don't need to plow just yet. Usually let it pack for awhile first. Still have some final assembly on the 8N before we get the deep stuff. Hopefully it'll be ready this week.

 

Well, bout time to head out. I sure hope I make it home. Some strange, mysterious force seems to be out there sucking a lot of cars right off the highway this morning.
