Got a new toy 08 RUBICON!!!!!

First off I still have my truck, although with fuel prices its just sitting in the driveway. But Ive wanted an unlimited rubicon since they came out, but I really didnt want to buy new. Well Ive been looking for a while and new used ones were almost as expensive as new. So one of the dealers I was working with called me and said Employee Pricing and it was over with.

So I took her out in the field, not much out their but the little bit that was impressed me. I mean you can partially disable or completly disable traction control/electronic slip, lock the front rear or both differentials, has hill assist for going down steep grades, and an unlocking track bar all from in the cab. Very impressed, cant wait to hit the beach in a few weeks.

Well wanted the 6 speed but they are hard to find. I went with the auto, and I have to say I really like it. And if I want to have a drink or two the wife can drive she cant do that with a 6 speed .

You know...35's will fit with a 2" budget lift, and a 4" lift will clear 37's!!! Sweet ride, if I didn't have my truck, I'd be driving one!

Oh I dont need to get in any more trouble than Im already in. Maybe in 30K when these tires go bad, but man they are pretty nice. And This one is staying 100% stock, and thats good enough for me....

A stock Rubi is better than many rigs with a LOT of extras poured into them.

The factory really got that one right.

Oh I'm with you guys, best off-roaders on the market, darn near as good as a Power Wagon, lol. But for how cabable they are from the factory, a set of 35's just makes them unstoppable, and try finding an H2 you can get 35's on with less than 3" of lift.

My Wife has a 03 Ruby, purchased it 1 month after I obtained my Dodge.

There is a green/yellow stripe wire behind the radio, if you ground it, you can lock the differentials in high range 2 or 4.

Thanks guys as I said I wouldnt have it either if it I didnt get it with employee pricing... Also I must say for 3 years I drove a H1 in the Marine Corps as part of a CAAT team. We were the advanced force and trained hard and beat out H1s to death, it was an awesome job. My point is Im not easily impressed, but I will say my stock rubicon is the second most capable 4 wheeled vehicle I have had the privledge to drive. I think it would beat an H2 hands down, and Ive spent some time behind the wheel of them too. Now anyone have a clue how to find some legal off road places in the area??? I have been searching the net and cant find squat for VA... Thanks guys Ryan.

Ryan, I saw that you do still drive the monster today. I was coming down Dale Blvd when I saw this huge dually blowing smoke out of it's stacks while pulling a big enclosed trailer. I was flashing my lights at you but I don't know if you saw me or not. My truck is a bit inconspicuous right now so it's easy to not notice it. That will all change soon.......

Congrats, that thing's a beauty. I'd love a Rubi.
