Got the Box Van stuck today

Ok it was 2 degrees today so Im driving in an alley behind the walmart and driving along on some ice that by all means should be frozen solid at 2 degrees. when all the sudden I hear what sounds like a bomb erupt The next thing I know the truck is stuck in about 10 inches of water No biggy so I thought. When I get to the end of this thing what was once a 6 inch lip of snow of course is now about 16 inches. Thinking quickly I stomp the throttle and get almost all the way out before it bottoms out. I call one of my tow buddies to come over and pull me out. He shows up in a 6.0 F350 DRW.. It wouldnt budge and then he tried the winch and it just pulled his truck instead of mine. So then he goes well uh I guess I'll go back and grab the dodge and bring it. It'll pull you out yeah better go get that thing before you break that tinker toy you have here right now. He gets the dodge cummins comes back and out I come

I've gotten 4700 International box vans stuck in ways that no pickup could EVER pull them out.

Back in my college days when I drove trucks for the local lumber yard we used to get those big box vans and flatbed trucks stuck all the time. The worst one to get stuck was a big Ford tandem axle we had. I got it stuck with a 30,000 pound frame load on it one time. We broke three chains and one windshield trying to pull it out with one of our other trucks (FYI...a broken chain will fly straight through a windshield). It was buried to the axles. We had to get one of those BIG tow trucks to come out and retrieve that one.
