Google is the Devil!

I had an epipheny today...

I logged onto my computer and searched for my internet shortcut using Google Desktop Search. I then pulled up the internet to my Google.com homepage in order to check my GMail. I typed GMAIL into my Google Toolbar and pressed "I'm Feeling Lucky" to pull up GMAIL, then used the Google Auto-Complete tool to fill in my password and user name.

I checked my mail and had an eMail from Google about Google's new PayPal-style service, which would allow me to buy anything I want through Google.

On the horizon is a Google take-over of eBay and probably a Google operating system.

GOOGLE IS TAKING OVER THE BLOODY WORLD!

I'm freaking serious; Google is taking over the entire Internet. Pretty soon everything is going to be in the hands of one company; we are watching another Microsoft being formed, only it is going to be ten times as worse if it advances very far longer.

I can see a day when the only search engine left is Google, then what do we do? Even if the company doesn't have some kind of sadicious political agenda, it still is going to be possible to render the Internet useless through presenting only paying websites first, or through hackers targeting Google, or by having a bunch of little websites just not being able to be found because everybody only uses Google!

I mean, Google is BECOMING the Internet! That's scary.

So rise up my bretheren before Google manages to destroy the Internet as we knew it today, or rather knew it three years ago before Google came to conquer the virtual world. I have expunged every Google-related piece of softwar from my computer and set www.Ixquick.com as my homepage.
Run from Google! Run like the plague!

BOYCOTT GOOGLE! BOYCOTT GOOGLE! BOYCOTT GOOGLE!

And hence they are taking over the Internet.

So we have an option; 2 GB of free eMail space, or 200 MB under Hotmail. Decent Picture search, or crappy picsearch.com. Reuters and CNN, or Google News.
We have an option all right; a Google megacompany destroying the freeflow of information on the Internet, or less-than-Google services.

Pick the latter my friends, pick the later. Expunge Google from your system.

I have used hotmail, netscape webmail, netmail, and probably several others that I have forgotten about, other than GMail, the only one that came close to being a good service was www.netaddress.com and they started charging $15/month.
Maps.google.com hasn't completely won my trust over www.mapsonus.com, but they are getting close.
www.google.com/ig gets everything I want to know right infront of me when I open mozilla so why go searching all over the web for the headlines when I get them at once...

Because soon Google will BE the news, will BE the Internet librarian and will BE the Internet. In one company.

Mine too...

Why waste time searching when the info you really want to be reading is right here?

I see no harm in it. Google does things right, and there is no debating that.. besides, I love my two gmail accounts... so much so, that I never use my homtail accound, and my other personal account is almost all junk mail now.

Tell you the truth of the matter is if you looking for better search for small companies use MSN... There search engine works totally different from Google...

Trust me I know... My web site doesn't show up on Google properly becuase it only gets walked about once a year if lucky... MSN walks my site about once a week!

I got a nice little program that tells me where (Google, MSN, Excite) the person found my web site and what they typed in...

90% of my web hits are from MSN and the rest is from Google, Alexa, Exite, Yahoo... Go figure...

Well, actually, Google's plan is a well known ploy.
Jack and Lary are waiting for Google to reach 51% ownership of the World.
At that point, Jack and Lary will move in for the hostile take-over launching DTR to World domination.

Of course, you all realize that Ford owns Google right?

Rich.
