So you having a BBQ this 4th? With all them drum sticks it would be quite a feed.
Finally cooled off around here. I was starting to think I was back in Arizona. Good thing, I'm starting my vacation and have a lot of catchup work to do. Probably won't get to work on the cabin this year, have to fix my trucks first.
You sure those are sprinkles? they taste like shrew nuggets.

Schneider the orange condos
Yep, just like a construction barrel, orange, always in the way, and when you open them up, a dirtbag falls out!
What a great opportunity for you! Don't you have some land you need to sell and still have the moonlight rights?
If I had land I'd be keeping it. There's no way I'd go back OTR. I was surprised I made it to Sidney and back (180 miles up, 190 back) in one day. It's been 20 months since I was to Kearney, and that's only 110 miles away. Kansas is only 26 miles south of me and I haven't been across the line in probably two years now.

Got two new shoes on d'amigo. Gotta get a valve stem to put a spare back on. Got steel ones and there's no room for the nut on the outside of the rim. Took the top off it for the day, too. Gotta get the flex pipe (that replaced the cat convertor about 3 owners ago) fixed too, it's really loud right under my seat.

Bark, bbq sauce shouldn't bother you, you eat Subarshrews.

Claude, thanks for the donuts, I think. You didn't visit that dumpster again did you?

Bob, thanks for opening up. I shut the door on the old one.

Afternoon all.

I'm in another severe storm watch in medicine hat alberta.
I'm thinking this is setting up for some intense weather here.

Have a great week folks. Sean is at a Monday/ Canada Day celebration wondering where everyone is.

You said that, not me! Keep your LEGGS covered Scotty. You wouldn't want to get hail damage to them.

I don't know. BBQ sauce and oatmeal still doesn't sound right.
Do you fry it because I don't think it would stay on the grill?

Where the heck is chaikwa? Did we offend him? If so try to remember what it was.

You are soooo welcome, Bark. I was thinking about you today. Went to Ebby beach to relax and hang out with wifey, son and Gdaughter. No work today - - did enough this week. I came around the corner to the beach and there were fireweed coming up along the road from the bank overlooking the sound. Across the sound were the Olympia mountains with snow still on them. Made me homesick for our campsite at Homer - - only difference up there was that snow was glaciers, but that same site was what we drank our
cup of coffee to sitting in our recliners in the living room. Gorgeous.

Scotty, put on your seat belts and hang on. Nasty stuff up there.

I still like that Homer area except on weekends (too crowded).
Back during my Euell Gibbons stage we used to use fireweed for a lot of stuff.
A couple of years ago in the spring I picked a bunch of shoots for salad along with young fiddlehead ferns. It was really good.
We all got two days worth of diarrhea.

Its no fun trying to pick on chaikwa when something like that happens.
Prayers to them all and their families.

My wife and her friend got brave enough to have fiddlehead fern in Talkeetna on our day to take the plane up and land on the Ruth Glacier. Got a great pic of her with her head tipped back, mouth open and dropping that green "worm" into her mouth. Teased her for two days telling I am not kissing a woman who eats worms. We all got a kick out of it - - my friend was saying the same thing to his wife. Fun stuff.

We are on the night shift with the twins. Final feeding going on right now and then deliver them to mommy and hit the sack. Better get back and hold up my half of the task. See ya,

Bob
