Yo! Good morning all bipedal mammals! Hope everyone has a good weekend. The bride and I are going to 2 coastal towns for a visit today, Mystic ,CT and Newport, RI ; about a 250 mile round trip. It's a rainy day up here, so it sould be interesting : Whatever you're doing, enjoy, stay safe! Especially you guys around the Washington, DC area. Keep those head down!

Mornin' all.
Well I need to fuel up the beast, and Wifey's Cruiser.......anyone wanna ride shotgun?........ :
It was a quiet night so far, the zipper-head shooter, (I won't dignify what he's doing by associating him with the true Sniper community), took last weekend off, hopefully his Union contract doesn't allow him to work overtime.
Rain has stopped, looks like it's gonna be a good day.
Keep your head down and your powder dry.

Fall has definitely arrived. Temps plunged down into the low 30s in many areas of Pacific Northwest. Brrrrrrrrr. Got a little something for you all to look at, since its Saturday and its a slow one usually in this column.

You might be from the Pacific Northwest if:

1. Know the state flower (Mildew)
2. Know more people who own boats than air conditioners.
3. Understand that if it has no snow or has not recently erupted, it's not a real mountain.
4. Know the difference between Chinook, Coho, and Sockeye salmon.
5. Know how to pronounce Sequim, Puyallup, Oregon and Willamette.
6. Consider swimming an indoor sport.
7. In winter, go to work in the dark and come home in the dark - while only working eight-hour days.
8. Are not fazed by "Today’s forecast: showers followed by rain," and "Tomorrow's forecast: rain followed by showers."
9. Have no concept of humidity without precipitation.
10. Know that Boring is a town in Oregon and not just a state of mind.
11. Can point to at least two volcanoes, even if you cannot see them through the clouds.
12. Have actually used your mountain bike on a mountain.
13. Never go camping without waterproof matches and a poncho.
14. Put on your shorts when the temperature gets above 50, but still wear your hiking boots and parka.
15. Take your poncho with you every Fourth of July.
16. Knew immediately that the view out of Frasier's window was fake.
17. Measure your drive travel time in hours.
18. You design your kids Halloween costume to fit under a raincoat.
19. Know how to tell the seasons; Winter = rain 24/7, Spring = Rain followed by showers, Summer = Slow, Road construction ahead, Fall = Showers followed by rain.

;D ;D ;D ;D

~Dave
