My wife and her sister and husband, took there 4x4's out mudding, She got her truck stuck a handful of times, and my Brother in law pulled her out each time.

He then got his truck stuck 1 time and she had to pull him out. She took several photos of her truck pulling his out and has never let him forget it

Not a single photo of his truck pulling her's out exist to this day A story is all in the proof

Havent really attempted it yet. Waiting for friends to get off work. Man, its gonna take a long time to clean it up for next weekend at the Va Diner!!! Ill probly still have mud dobber nests in my ears.
I think i can get it with the tractor hopefully. If not, time to drive the 855D cummins equipped loader over there to save the day!

Once you get it out I would suggest that you pull all the wheels and check the brake discs. My guess is that you will find the disc vent holes plugged and if you don't clean them out quickly the discs could warp.

That is why DC needs to put the 4 cylinder Cummins ISB 170 in a Jeep Wrangler. With big tires & a short wheel, you wouldn't get hung like that. With frame improvements and a better driveline, you could also haul stuff in a small trailer.

Hmmm, that's what I'm doing. . . .

You need some tires with tread before you try that again.

I didn't get any pics of my first stuck.
Still had the original Michelins on it .

Front end was a little deeper than yours.

I still get mud drips from the frame every time I wash it.

I have since performed modifications designed to prevent that from ever happening again.

I also have a camera in the glove box just in case it does happen.
Also to get pics of those I help get unstuck.

Once spring sprungs I'm sure I'll have some pics to contribute.

$1,000 of my tax refund is already earmarked for my winch.
Warn has a new 16.5K big boy I'm kinda considering, only $500 more than the 12K.

You definately need to pull at least the front wheels and flush out the rotors real good and all around the calipers and the sliding feet on the calipers. The calipers will lock up and ruin the brakes and possibly the rotors. I'm speaking from experience learning the hard way.

I definitely agree with the diesel in a Jeep Wrangler.

That looks awesome and a lot of fun. I miss going off-roading and getting stuck.

Got her out yesterday. Took about 30mins to do some digging for the wheels and then yanked her out with the tractor. Hosed off all vital frontend hardware, took it to the carwash and spent $2.00. Got back home and pulled the front wheels to clean out the calipers, everthings fine, except with the wheel off the ground i discovered my lower ball joints are SHOT, the wheel moves about 2"-3" . Now something esle to fix They must be OEM
