golf cart problem

golf cart problem

i have a golf cart that still runs on the silonoids like you would find on a starter

i believe it has 5

when you push the pedel to go slow it jumps and jerks

but if you push it wide open it goes fine

do you think i have a bad silonoid or one that is not working right

What kind of golf cart is it? There should be a rheostat that is connected to the go pedal. The solenoids only LOOK like starter solenoids; they are continuous duty type and might be 6-volt, 12-volt, 36-volt or 48-volt coils.
There should be a schematic under the deck.

its a club car 94 model

it does have the silonoids and its a 36 volt

can one of the silonoids go bad and the cart still run
