Just checked the latest hurricane tracking map-- - looks like this one is coming in about 200 miles or so south of you (rough estimate). When I went to bed it looked closer to you. Soooo, yeh, relax, eat your taco and have some ph00.

Thanks, chew, chew, hmmmmm, gulp. More please. Pass the green salsa please.

Bob, are you talking about Franklin? So far all the bad weather such as hurricanes (from the east and west coasts) have never bothered us except for maybe a bit of wind and some hard rain and maybe localized flooding, but really nothing much to worry about. Hope it stays that way. We are up in the mountains (6,000') but the other mountains around us keep the majority of the bad stuff away.

Where is everybody? Made some fresh coffee and ph00, so maybe the smell will draw someone in. Walked past the coffee grinders at Costco the other day and just the smell of the fresh ground coffee almost made my mouth water and made me want a cup of fresh coffee. Does that make me a coffee addict?

A few days ago asked for some info re scanners in the general diesel forum and am surprised that none of you diesel sniffers or gearheads have not responded. Yes, that is a hint.

Another wonderful day here yesterday weatherwise, So far today is the same. Will if that changes tomorrow or Friday after Franklin hits the east coast.

Breakfast time for me, so see yuh.

Yep - - - I will indulge in that ph00 ........................hmm, what is that flavor, Stan. Can't place it. Good, but what is it? Maybe I do not want to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nuther gorgeous, but warm, morning here. No rain yesterday - - hmmm??? Off to funeral of friend. He has been going downhill for several years. He and wife sat across the aisle from us and he and I would sign language across the aisle, which, or course, ended up sometimes with one or both cracking up. We would get soundly reprimanded by the wives, straighten up - - well, for maybe a minute or two, then go at it again. Miss him.

Refill and go get ready.....................

You really do not want to know! Let me put it this way - I do not think that I can exactly duplicate the taste.

Wow, first time to stop by this week. See I have missed some great grub. Just my luck....

Decided to stop by the airport and fly a bit after work. Got the plane preflighted, cranked and warmed up. Taxied to the fuel pump and what do you know????? The key to the lock was missing from it's normal spot. Looked around a few minutes and decided to put it back in the hanger. Got a call in to the airport manager. Oh well, weekend looks good for a Saturday morning breakfast run. Bet they find it by then. If not, I have big pair of long handled master keys that can open the lock.

Save me some of that good grub just in case.......

Have a good 'un!

Morning all. Fresh coffee and ph00 on deck, dragon fed, cleaned up a bit and I am out of here. Buying a car for my granddaughter this morning. Her's only has 202,000 on it, been hit by 3 deer, paint is looking very bad, but still running great - - but, don't want a wheel coming off trying to drive down to see us. So, nuther one going in her parking spot this morning.

Stan - aol.com has a good report on Franklin this morning - might want to jump onto them and take a peak. Quite spread out.

........................................GONE.

Good morning all. Dead calm here right now with only the occasional light breeze for a few seconds, but have doubt that the winds will pick up soon. Sky is high broken overcast, but no doubt that will also change over the next few hours. Still do not expect much in the way of bad weather where I am. Looks like we will be right on the fringes of Franklin.

Bob, thanks for the coffee and the aol tip. I checked it out and it pretty well confirms what I already know.

Sherod, bummer that you could not go flying. Next time fill it up immediately after you land. Less chance of condensed water in the fuel too. I liked your description of the key that you have; a big pair of long handled master keys that can open the lock.

Made some more room in my tiny workshop yesterday by throwing out more stuff that I have not used in years, plus installed one new shelf. The corner is close to the door and consequently have already hit my head on it twice, so chunk of that will be missing in an hour or so.

Ciao.

Three hour drive into the city for specialist appointment for the wife and I ... now we are shopping second hand stores for all the back to school stuff for the kidos... looked around for some much needed coffee and the dragon just shrugged his shoulders and waddle off to his corner?!?!

No time to make coffee ... wife has found a shirt I just have to have

Stan...shorten that shelf instead!... good looking guy like you don't need a chunk out of your head

Just finished pressure washing the picnic area at the Gun Club for the annual picnic this weekend. We have a Civil War Reenactment Group showing up this year and bringing their guns and their Bronze 12 pounder artillery piece

Those old Bronze cannons ring like a bell when you fire them, looking forward to letting that thing ring a few times! I am thinking I could probably rig up a mount in my truck bed....sure would take care of those tailgaters

Stan, thought the map showed it coming close, but maybe just fringe to you for Franklin. Thing really spread out. Have not had time to follow up how much damage in the peninsula.

Lary, that sounds fascinating. What fun and great way to show the past.

It was me, big guy - - you didn't answer me so I made my decisions without your input. Too bad you missed out. LOL

REFILL - - - - - .................

Now I will go sip and pout as I look over the horrible stock market today. Wish those Democrats would get their hands out of other people's pockets and let out country get up and running. Go find a hole to hide in and let Trump get us rolling. ....................

Sip sip - - yep, good.
