I am leaving for Lakeland, Florida at the beginning of next week, I am looking at 3 different routes to take to Florida, I-75 all the way to 98, I-77 into Columbia, South Carolina then cut over 76 to Conway, South Carolina and hang out with a friend of mine and then to the coast and down 17 through Charleston til I hit I-95 then on to I-4, or I-75 to I-65 to 231 to 167 through Enterprise, Alabama and on down to 98 in Florida. I hate construction, ALOT, and I'm looking for the route with the least construction. When i drove my truck back from Florida up 75 it was nothing but construction 3 months ago, do the other 2 ways I want to go have bad construction? I will be towing my 1994 4x4 ford ranger with a tow dolly so you can see why I dont want construction. Mountains dont worry me but construction does. Time isn't really that much of a concern either, just gonna take it slow and take my time and enjoy the ride.
