Nice snow storm Scotty.......we drive snow storms like that all the tme in Alberta and dont even complain too much....
Hmmm, maybe it was about Sask being involved.

I remember when I moved to Alberta in 92, I got bugged about my Sask plates being 'learner' plates.

That reminds me of my days growing up in Buffalo, when I had to walk to school 5 miles barefoot. Left there in '68 haven't regretted it since.

To make you feel better it has been cool here today. Don't think it will get past 75.
Spots was right - - only got to 71. Real cold snap. Brrr. Better go close all the doors and windows - - but, the smell of the flowers coming in is so nice. Naw, I'll shiver a little and leave them open.

Scottie, just after the sun came up this morning I was outside in shorts and bare feet washing my my truck and my wifes car. The water comimg out of the hosepipe was nice and warm. The air felt really nice. The boids were choipin, the flowers were blooming and the butterflies were out in full color. It felt soooooooooo good to be here.
Want to join me? My truck has never seen ice or snow.

Scotty,

Looks like Kodiak Island, AK during our "Blizzard 03". The folks that are from the lower 48 thought it was a terrible blizzard but in reality it was just blowing snow. Drive slow (read less then 5 mph) and steady--don't stop, you'll do fine. Its the folks who stop that cause the problem. Glad you made it safely. The CTD will go through anything!!

Dang, glad you made it out and around ok!! Glad that CTD is heavy, looks like it would have blown cars off the road! Did you have to keep in in 4wd?

John
We were about 25 miles north of Regina Saskatchewan Canada on Hwy #6.

I was in 4x2 with right wheels on the dirt just off the shoulder. 4x4 on the pavement was worse. 4x4 on the shoulder caused some real choppy driving.

The road was getting polished up real nice.

Just north of the red star...

Thats why they put that little lever on the floor with the 4X4 on it! I'm not sure it helps with low visability though.
