Fort Collins, CO

My wife are thinking of relocating to Fort Collins; moving from Oregon. We have been researching it online and it sounds wonderful. I was hoping that I could get some unbiased input from people who live there or are familiar with it.

Thanks

Well if you have a job there it is really nice, but if your going to have a job in denver, then the drive will be very long back and forth because I-25 is really bad, traffic wise, and it is a long drive, but it has really nice views of the mountains, I live in Brighton but have been to FT Collins many times

We are self-employed so we would be working there and in the surrounding areas. We are real estate investors and I do remodeling and custom carpentry on the side.

A friend of mine is from there. Beautiful area and not to overgrown yet. Lots of space around there still since its up in the north edge.

Not a bad place at all.

Have a good one. [coffee]

You need to learn a LOT more about ft collins before you call it a tree hugging town.[nonono] It is actually the exact opposite. Being that CSU is the main focal point in the town and it is originally an ag school you will fit in fine. Of course there are a few hippies here and there but thats how it is everywhere.
Just so you know, Fort Collins was ranked by money magazine the number one city in the US to live and that is for MANY reason including how much there is to do here, how cheap it is to live here and how nice everyone is. Here is the link and don't hesitate to PM me if you have any questions at all!

Ahh my bad, Except I didn't think Oregon was a Tree Huggin state at all when I was there to go fishin. Colorado always gets that label because of the one Tree huggin city of boulder that most everyone else in the state hates. Oregon seemed very similar to Montana...

Ahh, I was down in Deschutes. That is some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. But I guess I can see that, I got quite a few nasty looks when i was out touring the west coast to visit my grandpa in the Sierra Nevadas because I refuse to take down my W04 sticker until I can go 2 weeks without seeing a kerry edwards sticker, or a don't blame me I voted for kerry sticker[yuk]
