I am building a new home. My crawl space is big enough for a small storm shelter if need. I am going to put a floor hatch , trap door , floor acccess door , etc. These are the names I have found. What I have not found is a
lot of doors. The ones I have found are at cheapest $550. Does anyone have any info they can lend. I am thinking of just making one my self for a whole lot less.

 

so what do you have, a 4 foot crawl space? why not go up a few more rows of block and have a real basement? this is the time to do it, or wish ya had the rest of your time in that home.
