Question The flat head six

I just had to buy this old bombardier I found, It is the old sidwalk plows that were about 4 feet wide and 9 feet long that ran on rubber tracks like a dozer. Really cool and clean machine, But the motor is set up, Does any one know of something that will bolt up to this bellhousing? It is the chrysler industrial flat head six. Any help or links will be appreciated. And the wife will think that I might actually get it going instead of stashing it in the garage.

Why not just rebuild it? Bet you can get the parts. Either that or you will probably have to make an adaptor plate.

While you may be off topic in both these forums, These fellows hold a wealth of info on the old dodge engines

Thanks for all the great links. And your time into checking them out. Here is one I also found as I dig anyone who hops up anything, www.inliners.org . Same as using this site once you register. Just found out my dad has 2 flat head sixes at his house, both running one in a doodle bug and and in a late40?? pickup. Might take him up on putting the head gasket on his tractor for one.
