Not sure about your firestones, I run wranglers on mine and the durability has been great. Can't say for sure the exact mileage because I run alot of gravel roads. Price sounds great though, keep us posted if you get them and maybe i'll change over to them on the next swap.

Have a good one, Bodey

My 87 Ford came with Firestones. Worst tires I ever had. Poor traction, wore fast, and I had alot of flats. So I through them out back and put on a set of Bridgestones. Traction and puncture resistance were Okay, but they wore out all nice and evenly in 34000 Kilometers. Found out later Bridgestone is made by Firestone. At this point I sold the truck it was a bigger piece of crap than the tires.

Have had Dodge trucks with Goodyear Tires or BFG's ever since. Great trucks and equally great tires. Pete

IMHO the only "good" Firestone is one that's NOT on my truck. I've never had any good luck with them, but there again, I've never worn a set out either, they always seperated and flew apart before that.

Six Firestones on a dually, after 10K miles, four had belt separation, two of those were leaking from the sidewalls, and all six had 40% tread. Spend the money, buy the best tire you can find. Michelins, BFG's, etc. Not Firestone.

Should also look for load range E for a 2500 I would think.

The last set of Flintstones I had were crap. Nothing but flats and finally had one of them come apart at about 18,000 miles. Wouldn't run them again if you gave a free lifetime supply.
