EXCEL gurus...I need help

Here's what I got. I have an excel document with a sheet 1 and sheet 2 on it. On sheet 2 there are a bunch of formulas and info that I would like to have certain parts of it populate sheet 2 automatically. Basically I want to enter my numbers on sheet2 and those calculations stay on sheet2 but also go to sheet1 (once I find out how to do it, I'll build some formulas in sheet1 for further calculations). There has to be a way but I'm not computer literate enough to figure it out. Please explain to me in simple terms how to do it. Thanks.

If you want the whole equation or just the value - right click on the cell copy and paste across the different sheets. If it has problems there should be a paste option that comes up and you could choose how you want it. I hope that helps a little but if not try the help function it has helped with a lot with things like this.

I can get it to paste with the "special paste value" button but once I paste it, the number is there and it won't allow for adjustments on sheet 2 if I change that number. I need both sheets to be talking to each other automatically all the time. I'm sure it can be done but like I said, I'm a computer dummy.

Easy to do.

Build your formula on sheet two to do what ever math you want.

Go to sheet one and in the cell that you want the sheet two data to appear in you put an = sign, then go to sheet two and click on the cell that has your data, then hit enter.

Any change to the data on sheet two will show on sheet one.
