Retired since end of Feb, 05 from nation company. Have been trained as a computer geek, even have the nerd pocket protector. Also trained on commerical 2 way sattilte communications. Spent most of my time doing that the last few years.
When I started in '62 most communication lines were 100 wpm teletype, or 135 baud. Used mechanacial face plates, and relays. We have come a long way to develop equipment that can drive shovelhead up the wall.

Davey,
Ex sattilite dude.

Retired military, now I just make a dollar where I can. Haule livestock, Raise and sell a few cattle and horses, run a small trailer rental and trailer parts shop on the side.

Television Master Control Operator at the CBS owned/operated affiliate in Salt Lake City.

Put the shows on at the right time, the right commercials in at the right time.
Thrash my underlings when they mess up any of the above.

Been there 17 1/2 years.

I left a job as a Sr. Design Engineer in Flight Controls Design for a major aircraft company to make....computer chips (DRAM, PSRAM, SRAM, FLASH,CMOS)! Making the switch from dealing with something that had a tail section 63' high to something with linewidths of 65nM (nanometers) was quite a switch -
- I just left that portion of the semiconductor industry to build Masks (reticles) used to create the aforementioned chips.

Engineer.....I design RV's (with my feet propped up sittin' in a compfy chair) ....everything on them accept the chassis and electrical harnesses. Design them in 3-D using AutoCAD 2005 and Inventor 10 as my design software.

I guess you would say former truck driver....I did 3 FEMA runs and they were all legal.

I am designing a diesel engine similar to our CTD in inventor. It is awesome when you can spin the crankshaft and all the pistons move up and down inside the block in the correct firing order!
