The fires became a capitol offense when the firefighters were killed thus opening the door for capitol punishment. Your previous statement is correct-
(scumbag). It is truly saddening the loss of life and property.

 

It's like the Rodeo-Chediski fire they had here in AZ back in 2002. It was the biggest in AZ's history - something like 500,000 acres total.......and it was human set all because a 'volunteer' fire-fighter needed work (isn't that ironic?) and also because someone who had become 'lost' set a signal fire and then left it smoldering.

As I like to say, 'Stupidity should be painful'.
