an emmissions thought

If you put two turbos in your exhaust line, the first, a small, low boost turbo piping compressed air into the exhaust line (prolly have to be after the second turbo), the second providing boost for your engine. would this effectively fool any emissions tests?

I have a buddy that worked at a factory that does basically the same thing with their waste water. Its cheaper to dilute the waste water rather than clean up their process or the waste water.

Sounds like it would. Basicly dilluting the exhaust gas. Say a 50/50 mix, fresh air and exhaust air. Pretty cool there. The first turbo may make the second turbo less effective though. And does an emission test measure overall flow out the exhaust pipe?

On a side note, I just had an emmisions thought right here on the couch and now the living room air is not fit for sustaining human life anymore

or perhaps push the first turbo boost thru the second without cooling the boost temperature. Your going to loose a little just in effeciency, but you might pick up a quicker turbo response.
What I was concerned about was the testing finding "clean air" in the exhaust. Overall, your still putting out the same exhaust, your just diluting it and putting causing the air to appear cleaner with less soot.
