I am liking the Poll already!!! Goodluck,,,,Rick

herb Aug 11, 2004 10:06 AM

this poll does not seem to reflect the polls being taken nationally ? does that mean that the folks frequenting this poll are wrong or that the majority of them are conservatives/
by the way, how is it that with the conservatives in office now, we have amassed such a large federal deficit again?
seems as tho when we spend all this money in this country building armaments for these conservative's war , that the ecomomy should prosper?

If Kerry gets elected, I will be shocked at the stupidity of this nation. [yuk]

Mcmopar Aug 11, 2004 10:49 AM

If anyone votes for Kerry, they must be socialists. If anyone listened to his speach at the DNC you should know this!!

He is gonna give EVERYBODY healthcare, good paying jobs, reduce the defeceit, win the war,and make friends with the rest of the world. Keep in mind this guy has voted to increase funding to the UN by 600%!!!

So he is gonna tax the hell out of hard working people so deadbeats can have GOOD paying jobs, I will have to support everyone elses healthcare, along with my own, and he will likely give more control of America to the UN.

Sounds like a good candidate to me!!

Hey People! Stop throwing out the insults and name calling as to who these people vote for!

Having the right to vote for who you want, is what makes this nation so great in the first place. You can make your point in these threads with out calling someone an idiot, just because they don't happen to agree with you.

We are after all, still neighbors and friends:)

Frank Zappa:D Seriously though I see a down side to both, Think I`ll run for king of America next election. In the mean while lets not get like the guys on that ford site I was on[eyecrazy]

CMNS_gal_4x4 Aug 11, 2004 11:12 AM

I did not call anybody an idiot.

I do believe though voting rights are handed out too freely. I believe you should have to have a job, or have a spouse with a job, be enrolled in college, be retired, a landowner, etc (you get the point) to vote in the election. Why should some loser, who has never had a job, lives off of welfare, let's me and you foot the bill for everything in their lives, be able to DECIDE who runs this country????????? Those are the people that the liberals prey on. Heck ya a welfare sucker will vote for kerry. These are also the lower class that LOVES Clinton because he had sex in the oval office, they find it cool that he is as scumy as they are. It scares me how SMALL of a factor MORALS are for some people when deciding on their vote. IT also scares me that I still have a lot of life to live in this country, in the direction it is heading.

Get Smart everyone. I believe this election could be a turning point for this country, please dont turn it into a snowball heading for Hell.

My use of the term "idiot" was a generalization, My intent is to make everyone remove their personal attacks from their posts.

If we drop to the level of calling each other names just because we disagree, then the thread will be shut down, and we lose the chance to discuss these things.

Please people, read your post before hitting the post button. if you have made a derogatory remark, or hinted openly that if anybody votes contrary to your beliefs..........Remove it!

You can very easily make your point without making it personal.

It means that all these polls you see on TV are swayed by whom is footing the bill;) You can easily change the out come of ANY poll, just by the way you word the questions.

If the Democrats run a poll looking for a certain answer to an objective of theirs, remarkably they find it:rolleyes: Same thing exactly on the other side of the isle.

I don't trust polls any farther than I can throw them.

Point taken

Riverman777 Aug 11, 2004 01:16 PM

Kerry is cut from the same clothe Clinton was. Makes me want to puke. Bush may not be perfect, but he outshines Kerry regardsless of all the media propaganda. [yuk] [yuk] [yuk]
