DTR's Night Watchman & Poet Laureate
The Easter Bunny's on the way, with colored eggs and sweets,
For kids he hides his chocolate treats, and watches as they seek,
And keeps tightly to his chest, just how they make those " peeps",
I hope today brings hope to all and a fresh spring of the heart.
As you celebrate the life that within all us sparks.
Today I celebrate my birth, many years ago
And after church , with THE BOSS to luncheon we will go.
She will make a "secret" plan to have the waiters sing,
While I sit and try to smile, like I knew nothing.
Cinnamon rolls she made for me, to celebrate the day
And later with the kids and friends I'll put some cake away!
I hope todsy brings fun to each snd every one of you,
With family close and eggs to find and sll that bruhuhu.

Hey, Happy Easter to all. Wonderful service today with all kinds of special music, the "sticks" youth choir, all of us singing, good sermon. Good time. Now home where the blonde is putting together the vittles to share with her sis. Nice. Quiet. Peaceful. No idiots trying to bomb us (yet - - -

Happy Birthday Chris, Happy Easter to all....
Fast "Grandpa taxi" kind of weekend. Did manage to disk both side yards and replant with grass. We may get some good rains later today, so maybe it will be ok. Wanted to drop some fertilizer also, but no time with the "taxi service".
I'll be doing the old horse pasture next weekend, so I'll just save some of that for the yard.

Nuther day has dawned - - - get up, fresh coffee and ph00 are on. Mama made baked French toast, but hurry before I eat it all up. Ummmmm good.
Off to dealer for recall on air bags this morning. This seems all we hear about lately - - lousy air bags that can kill you and ignition switches that can kill you. Who was it that said guns are so dangerous, but never mentioned car companies who can hide defects for years? ......................

Monday morning has rolled around
So I scurry into town
I must not my duties shirk
So sadly I get myself to work
I must earn my hourly pay,
So the govt can take a third away
To spend in things they say are just
Like tires for an immigrant bus.
Or healthcare for some lazy slouch
Who spends his day upon his couch
So my taxes I must pay
So others may enjoy thier day
No attitude here, nothing to see, move along.....
