Saw this this morning at the Sam's Club in San Marcos this morning. Talked to the owner and it has a 454. He's owned it for around 20 years and takes it everywhere as a road trip vehicle. I asked about gas milage and He said it wasn't bad never really checked. He and his wife just got back from a trip to Maryland in it.

Hmmm. They must have some rather large parking spaces at your local Sam's. It fit's in there pretty well. lol

You didn't try to pursuade him into a 12v swap?

 

He seemed so happy with the gasser and so oblivious to the advantages of diesel. He was also very mad at one of the two Optima yellow tops he just bought that went bad on his trip. He had just slammed the hood down after pulling one out when I took the pic. He was @ the drivers door and his wife is the person in blue heading off to the store pushing the cart with the battery in it.
