WoW! My head really hurt after that one. I am now ready to buy that bridge from you. Are you still sure they will let me change the name from Brooklyn to Bark?

I cant afford the crab (and I aint going to hire on with a commercial boat) but I am going to play deckhand tomorrow or Tuesday to help out a friend. That way I always score some salmon.

Morning all. Here's your history;

On this day in 1779 - American troops under General Anthony Wayne capture Stony Point, NY.

1790 - The District of Columbia, or Washington, DC, was established as the permanent seat of the United States Government.

1862 - Two Union soldiers and their servant ransacked a house and raped a slave in Sperryville, VA.

1862 - David G. Farragut became the first rear admiral in the U.S. Navy.

1940 - Adolf Hitler ordered the preparations to begin on the invasion of England, known as Operation Sea Lion.

1942 - French police officers rounded up 13,000 Jews and held them in the Winter Velodrome. The round-up was part of an agreement between Pierre Laval and the *****. Germany had agreed to not deport French Jews if France arrested foreign Jews.

1944 - Soviet troops occupied Vilna, Lithuania, in their drive toward Germany.

1945 - The United States detonated the first atomic bomb in a test at Alamogordo, NM.

1951 - J.D. Salinger's novel, "The Catcher in the Rye," was first published.

1957 - Marine Major John Glenn set a transcontinental speed record when he flew a jet from California to New York in 3 hours, 23 minutes and 8 seconds.

Have a good day everyone.

I don't see where it would be a problem, I'll give you a........ I mean the title so you should be able to do what you want with it. Remember, the London Bridge's name can't be changed until the check clears for the city.

Naughty, potty mouth. What did they teach you over there? You been out of civilization too long? And an admin, too!! Shame all over you.
Hey, mad - - hope all is going well and the wife has not kicked you out all ready. She has had this wonderful vacation for so long she might have problems getting settled in to having you around again. I know it is always nice to get home even when we are gone on long trips that were a blast.

Funeral morning -- close friends mother died. Sad, but part of life. They are taking it pretty hard. She fell on the steps in the middle of the night and husband didn't hear it. He can't climb the steps anyway. Son-in-law was outside their house trimming trees when his cell rang and it was FIL calling for help - - dad could see her but not get to her. She was dead when he got in the house.

Hey, ya'll have a good day. Grabbing some ph00 on the way out.

Bob

Good morning DTR. Got called into work for a tandem 48' tractor trailer that went off the road and rolled into a ditch, both trailers fully loaded. Oh it was fun . We were out there till 01:00, call came in at 14:30. I set up our airbags on the tail trailer and got that one up and out in 2 hours, then as I was bagging the lead trailer and tractor my Honda air pump motor decided to commit suicide. It backfired so loud I thought we blew an air bag, it really extended and complicated the recovery. I will post some pictures once they are downloaded.

That? Man, come on Bobby! Good thing that you're not around me when I'm with my peers and we've had a few.

I was worried about that... she had all the benefits without the hassle... good paycheck, free medical, and no me! If she would have had a no strings attached boyfriend, she would have been living the life! Year long deployment? No problem! When can you leave? haha... just kidding. The boss is not like that, and I know it. I love her dearly, and we missed each other terribly. (and she is sitting right next to me...)

That is terrible, and I'm really sorry. That hurts my heart. My condolences to the family, as well as you, Bob.

I'd like to see those pics.

Afternoon, DTR. I am about two PSI in the blood pressure region from having a heart attack, stroke, and aneurysm and some arterial bleeding from my eyeballs. We had to go in today for some post deployment briefs, no big deal, but they're giving us briefs about stuff that does not even come close to having anything to do about comming off a deployment. Been home 38 hours, and I gotta do something useless. Sorry, just venting a little. I'm on lunch for a few, and gotta go back.

Other than that...

That was a single trailer roll over from last Friday. I did not post pics of the doubles roll over from "yesterday".
