my dad just showed me the bill for my license fee. i havent had the truck a year yet but $254 is WAY to high! im just curious what you guys are paying in other states. i think its ridiculous! i cant wait to leave cali! too many people and regulations!

if you read this i would really like to know what your paying in other states, my dad seems to think im going to hate moving out of state or he acts like its a stupid idea...

Costs about $150 every 2 years for a privatly owned Diesel pick-up. Same for gassers but thaey are required to pass an emissions test and get a certificate. costs them about $75 more last time I checked.

I paid 775 last year with a 20k weight rating. It was cool, I towed a trailer 4 times last year, really worth it. I should be in AK by june, so back to a reasonable rate.

Just paid renewal on my '06. Last year less than $350, this year $634.

Someone has to pay for those who don't.

$634,that's worse than when Davis was in! Very true statement you make. I was in southern Utah for a week recently. I didn't see one bum with a sign on the rodeway anywhere. They must intercept them at the border and bus them down here w/$5.00 and a sack lunch. Sucks.

Sorry, but it is still less than the Davis regime. Under the Davis formula, his tags would have been closer to $900..
