WOW! The damage is unbelievable. Unbelievable that he survived too!!!
PRAYER WORKS!!!!!! I do not care what the scoffers say, but PRAYER WORKS!!
Again and again I have seen very positive results from prayer. In Andy's case, this is called intercessory prayer and as Andy cannot prayer for himself, other believers pray on his behalf for his healing. I have been praying and asking that the medical staff have divine guidance as they attend to Andy and also that Andy's recovery will be so complete and so fast that all the attending medical staff and family will be astounded. It sounds like the prayers are being answered. And why not? The Bible says that we have not because we did not ask, so in asking for the total healing for Andy, we can all expect that he will receive it. Right? YESSSSSSS!!!!

Andy update: More good news! He was released from the Hospital and went home on Wednesday. He has a few months of PT and recovery ahead of him but he acts like his normal self. His parents are having a welcome home cook out on Sunday. I'll see him then.
Thanks so much for all of your prayers and support!

Andy and his parents belong to a fairly large church. His mother is quite active in it and so is he. He's been a member of that church since he was a small child. They held a prayer vigil for him a few days after the accident. Many people have been praying, hoping, and wishing for his complete recovery.
His recovery is nothing short of miraculous!
Consider the following: 30 days ago he was basically unresponsive and the prognosis was that there was a 90% chance that he would never wake up. IF he was in the other 10% he would likely suffer from permanent moderate to severe dysfunction. The average stay in the rehab hospital for his type of injury is 3-5 weeks. He was released in 2 weeks because he met their criteria for release. When he first went to the rehab hospital he told his father that his goal was to WALK out of the hospital in 2 weeks. That happened at exactly 2 weeks.
As I see it this certainly backs up your statement and answers your and many other folks' prayers! Feel free to share this story with others.

Must be. I dunno....I try not to second guess the will of the 'verse or the Allmighty. No point to it. I'm just very thankful that he's coming back. Kinda makes me re-think a few things.

On the lighter side...I'm an inveterate Dodge hound. You can't really tell from the pics but the brown truck behind my cousin's car is a 1979 W150. Pretty well beat/rotted but the grill was still decent.... I might have to go talk to them about that.
Wife probably won't approve tho...

Finally got home with good internet and could catch up with this story. So happy about the results with Andy - - - but not surprised. I grew up in the home of a minister that believed God could do anything if we have faith and pray in His will. I saw some amazing things from childhood right on up. Just spent two weeks in Seattle with our little Ianna. You would never know she had leukemia except she still has her port. Hair is back, strength is back and her attitude is back. Doctors are very impressed with her progress. She had a bunch of people praying for her including many of you. She will still be having treatments for 3-1/2 more years, but all tests are right on at this time. And, of course, her little twin siblings are amazing also. We had a ball - - didn't want to leave. But, I think maybe mama and daddy were about ready to get rid of ma and pa. LOL It is good to be home but wonderful memories. I am thankful to God for His faithfulness.

Bob

Well, three new prayer requests for us just hitting me this afternoon. Another good friend just passed away. Does not live near me, but we have known each other for over 40 years. He is only 58 and just bit the dust. Thankfully he was a very good friend of God, so I know where he is tonight. But his sweet wife is grieving badly as are his children.
Another request is for the family of a friend dying of cancer. His name is Rillon. Really neat guy who has always dressed out my kills for me - - great butcher and makes wonderful venison sausage. Again, he is ready to meet his maker and told me he is anxious to get the suffering over and go on "home."
Just hung up from the secretary of another good friend who worked for me for about 15 years (electrician) when in business and has done any major work for me on my properties since then. He is having horrible problems with kidney stones - - multiple surgeries and they have no idea why this is all happening. Just got out from the hospital last week from surgery and today is having horrible pains again. Too neat a guy to have to go thru all this pain.
I would appreciate your prayers on these three needs. Thanks,

Bob
