Evening everyone. Took a trip to bass pro today to buy a scope for my 700. I got $100 in gift cards to Bass Pro for Christmas this year. I wanted to replace the old cheap fixed power Bushnell I had on the gun, I ended up buying a Nikkon Prostaff 3-9x40. I'd love to have a nice Leupold but the Nikkon was in my budget. It'll do what I need it to do.
Had the truck parked in the garage today to melt and thaw out a little. Ended up having to wash down the floor because of all the crud left behind. My county love to use a sand/salt mix on the roads.
Heidi, that dinner you made sounds good! Made me hungry reading about it!
Think I might go grab a brew out of the cooler.

Most of our equipment that is welded is less than 20" diameter a single head is sufficient for us. but that thing will lay some filler metal.

AND WE USED BEECH SAND BECAUSE WE WERE RIGTH ON THE OSHIN AND IT WAS CHEAPER TO PAY A GUY TO GO OUT AND SHUVEL SAND ALL DAY THEN TO BUY THE RIGTH SAND.

Me? ME?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Me and wood do NOT get along! I'm used to steel... if I cut something a tad too short, I just weld it up and grind it down to the right dimension again. With wood you just have to throw it away and start all over again. And with my skill and patience, I'd be going thru CORDS of wood just to make a birdhouse!

Good story. Reminds me of trips with my father in-law in his barge.
My Aunt in the country (long gone) refused to pitch out the tree until July 4th. She would take the lights off and torch it in the front yard. She was a neat old gal.
LoL--I remember those days well. Than I made the mistake of becoming one of "them" for awhile. Happiest days were as a COII. Its now been over seven years since I bailed from that system. Nobody remembers me and that’s just fine by me
.
Talking with pilots in CA. What you say is so true. You can get into major trouble flying in areas that were OK eight years ago.

I thought I felt a vacuum here... the conjoining of Scott and Claude? Come to think of it, I've never seen them together at the same time....
