Mornin' All!
-10* this AM. Feels a bit like winter.....
I told Mama I'd get the tree down when I get off work for the week. The teardown is almost as bad as setting it up....
Dayshift again and now that Christmas is over, all the Admins are back......
Glad I only have to put up with it for 3 days this week.
I'll relight the burners for some more coffee.

HEIDI > AAW- NOT LEAGALLY
Inspite of the fact that my cousin owning the airport and several planes
i never had the money to afford getting a license-
( that being said - if i hsd s flight log -charts & the pilot became disabled
i could stumble my way through IFR - if i was in unfimular area - or VFR
if i was somewhat fimular with area)
any more down in this area ( not sure about rest of country) there are so many no fly zones you almost nead IFR to keep from being kept company by a cupple F16`s

If you spend enough time flying with some one that is a licensed filight instructor ( they have a habit of explaning everything as they go ) and you are paying attention - and you ocasionly take the controles

you can pick up a great deal >
always wanted my license - was two buisy rasing my family s
and always neaded the money there to get it >
I worked for my cousin and his airport was right in behind his meat packing plant -soooooooo
on our lunch hour we use to go up 3to 4 days a week .was kind of a real bonus to working there -
+spent a lot of time just hanging around the airport in my spare time -made friends whih severl pilots that kept their planes there and flew with many of them .
some just one flight was enough
kind of like bark was describing
kind of like driving -they might be licensed but have no busniss in the air or on the road !

beautiful day here -27 degrees little sunshine

Any more flying is beginning to remind me of that add on TV where the guy asks the little girl if she wants to ride the bi-cycle and has a red box taped off on the floor - you can ride but not far or you pay a penalty -
homeland security & military have so many no fly boxes that ya better study them good before you decide where you are going to fly !
possibly here because of the distance to Canada - i would imagine AK is similar !
actually where i live it is`nt bad farmer first farm west of me has a grass runway -both N-S & E-W he and his son both have planes that they keep right on the farm in a hanger attached to his barn .
they fly a lot locally and regularly attend CAP fly-in breakfasts around the area .

Heidi, this isn't anything Mike would miss is it? Sounds perfect, how old and how much do you want for it? I'd love to see a picture.

Sounds good. Since you bought it used, I 'd be happy to reimburse you to have a pro examine it. I'd hate to have you invest alot of time and travel and I don't have time right now for another pet-project. Which is why I was shoppiing for a new one.

But no, I'm not clicking on and off.
