i bought a used BullyDog outlook monitor & a CD changer from "Jeff K" on here few years back. paid $175 or so

the monitor had a cracked screen. gave it to local Perf shop so they would have a spare harness.

the CD changer was broken also,

i took it apart, one of the leaf's had come out of the magazine and was BOUND up in there.

put it all back together, worked fine. put it in mom's truck, good to go.
it was like $225 new, so i guess i got my $$ worth.

was sure aggravating, though.

Stock03- how are those cab lights working for ya? Have you got them installed yet? I still need to see your truck in person, I think the next mod I do on the truck is the exhaust, and I want to hear yours first. Maybe we will put these trucks head to head and I'll see how this new Edge chip fares against the VA

Well, the cab lights are still in the box. But they look good there! hahaha. I've been extra lazy lately. So no install yet. But I do have a template. So I'm ready to do it, as soon as I can get motivated.

I'll PM you ref meeting up...Good to hear from you

Yup, I agree. Even IF I did get scammed, I'll still be spending my hard earned $$ on this site!

With respect, I am the fellow that Zulusafari is speaking of. It's been a over a week since Joshua PM'd me that he shipped (again). I'm still giving him the benefit of the doubt, but I'm going to need a response to the ship date of the package by the end of the week, otherwise I'm going to ask for my money back.

I figure mail can sometimes take a while, but a firm ship date will help keep track of all the details in shipping a package.

Lary, thanks for the great forum. I am not a diesel truck owner, but a long time car enthusiast. I'm still hopeful that I get what I paid for, or I get my money back.

Answer your PMs, Joshua.

I like the added feature were you can now rate a seller, like E-bay. Gives you an idea about who your buying from. So when you buy from someone, rate them! It helps all of us out

A few days ago I received a PM from one of the members who hasn't sent out the product yet. He said it would be mailed soon.

So now I'm just waiting on the other guy!

I had a great transaction with "abadjeeper" and would like to rate him, but i can't find the option. if you would point me in the right directioin that would be great. also we have a way to rate buyers cause you have some buyers that will sent the money fast and some that will drag it on as long as they can or others that tell you that they want the item and that they sent the money only to tell you later that they changed their mind and never let you know. That could have cost you a sell with someone else.

Thanks,

I also had a good experience here. The pucker factor is large getting something from down in California to Canada. But all went well and I am really pleased with the product I purchased!! I also purchased a turbo from a good member here with 0 problems. I think the members that have been here a while MAY have more too loose to stiff someone than just the product. Phone conversations are worth it as well.

Good Attitude. I agree! Sure beats E-Bay!

I also agree with 'Lil dog'. Long time members and frequent posters are the safest bet. I was stung once by a long time vendor that went OOB shortly thereafter... but have bgt & sold successfully, probably 20 times.
I wish we could tell more about a seller from the ad ID, without having to find him in the members list (long process) to get a good feel.
