it is cold, then rain at noon on top of cold. last night caught some of a festival despite the cold. great church spaghetti dinner with too many fixins and dessert! all the vendors set up to sell food today among the activities. last night was local teams homecoming, previously winless with one pass for a TD in football. players took over the coaching and scored six TDs before taking it easy on the other team. 30 mph straight winds into the stands made it look like woodstock with all the fabric covering any body part exposed. nice to hear the teens cheer for their team and be so excited they won. kids took over cause the coach staff was 'using foul language and not playing the talented kids over concern of favoritism'. wow-

ironic that this time in 1789 king louis and Marie Antoinette got carried to the guillotine in France....not doing what was right for the public good.

A friend dropped off a jar of peach shine last night. First sip was pretty "peachy". Either it doesn't have the kick or my belly instantly went numb. Never did "feel the burn". Might have to sample a bit more later tonight in front of the fireplace!
