Got a call from mom, her and dad decided to have their rottie put down tonight. He had bone cancer and over the last 2 weeks he quit eating, could hardly walk, and wouldn't go to poop or pee. He was 10 yrs old, they got him when I was 16. He was a good dog and is alot better off now than being in pain. Dad took it pretty hard since Bronx was his buddy and shadow everywhere. I went with mom to the vet to get him in and out of the car and incase she wasn't good to drive home.

Matt, pass along prayers from here buddy.
Evening all. Rain on the way.

Any of you who may save scrap, watch the prices. Copper took a small jump today so I unloaded the little bit I had. I sold #2 for $2.40/lb.
Thanks! BTW, what's the difference between Masons and Shriners?
You just don't know me yet!
I didn't take it personal... if I can't take it, I shouldn't be dishing it out. And I don't just dish it, I shovel it!
ban·nock (bān'ək) n.
1. A flat, usually unleavened bread made of oatmeal or barley flour.
2. Northern U.S., especially New England Thin cornbread baked on a griddle.
86? Nothing after 79 is worth squat as far as I'm concerned. 1980 they came out with that 'Twin Traction Beam' garbage and from there it was all downhill.
Thanks Matt!
I'll do you one better; the last time I was seeing a shrink, she retired after my 5th session with her!
Sorry to hear about your Dad's pal.
Sitting here in the hotel in Clarion PA. Nice hotel, hole of a town!

Thanks for the prayers Rick, I'll pass them along.
Mom and Dad are doing fine tonight, talked to them they seemed upset still but were managing. I'm sure they'll be sad for a few days.
Back from dinner with the wife, we ended up going to the pub down the road.
Well, there definitely ain't nuthin' going on in this little town. There's a hospital across the street, thought there might be something going on there. NOT. The security guard is asleep in a chair in the lobby, no nurses in sight and they just shut off half the lights in the whole place. Guess that means it's time to go to bed.

Darn Good!
All Shriners are Masons, but not all Masons are Shriners.

The Shrine is another orginazation within the Masonic Fraternity. One must become a Master Mason before becoming a Shriner, but it is not a requirement that all Masons become Shriners.
The Shriners do a lot of charity work also with the burn hospitals and the work with crippled children.
I do plan to join the Shrine in the future....
Uddin Uddin....
Thats for Claude! or should I say COY!
Evening everyone, helping the wife with some homework and figured Id give a late night howdy to the BR.
