Well FO if it makes you feel any better I was cutting the top off of all the posts to set the beams on and lost my balance on the ladder, caught my thumb in the skill saw, and bled all over everything. Caught the artery on the side, looked like a bad horror movie. kinda cool actually. Worse part is I ruined a really good pair of gloves!!! Why don't they put a darned electric brake on skill saws??? Would have saved me 20 bucks for a new pair of gloves, and half a roll of paper towels!!
Evening all, hate to run through but I got get to the lumber yard early for more dead trees. Ya'll have a good evening!!!

What he said.
Morning folks, 29 here this morning with rain coming tonight.
I'm here. Contemplating going out to plow NOW, or wait 'til later. Still snowing. I hate winter.
Today is Friday, December 11th.
On this day in 1719 - The first recorded sighting of the Aurora Borealis was in New England.
1769 - Edward Beran of London patented venetian blinds.
1816 - Indiana was admitted to the Union as the 19th American state.
1844 - Dr. Horace Wells became the first person to have a tooth extracted after receiving an anesthetic for the dental procedure. Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas, was the anesthetic.
1872 - Pinckney Benton Stewart Pinchback became America's first black governor when he took office as acting governor of Louisiana.
1882 - Boston's Bijou Theater had its first performance. It was the first American playhouse lit exclusively by electricity.
1894 - The world's first motor show opened in Paris with nine exhibitors.
1928 - In Buenos Aires, police thwarted an attempt on the life of President-elect Herbert Hoover.
1930 - The Bank of the United States in New York failed.
1941 - Germany and Italy declared war on the United States. The U.S in turn declared war on the two countries. (Does anybody know WHY? I'm not real knowledgeable in history, but it seems strange that Japan bombs us, then a few days later these two countries declare war on us.)
1946 - The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) was established by the U.N. General Assembly. The fund provides relief to children in countries devastated by war.
1961 - The first direct American military support for South Vietnam occurred when a U.S. aircraft carrier carrying Army helicopters arrived in Saigon.
1973 - West German Chancellor ***** Brandt and Czech Prime Minister Lubomir Strougal formally nullified the 1938 Munich pact when they signed a treaty sanctioning Hitler's seizure of Czechoslovakia's Sudetenland.
1980 - U.S. President Jimmy Carter signed into law legislation creating $1.6 billion environmental "superfund" that would be used to pay for cleaning up chemical spills and toxic waste dumps.
1985 - General Electric Company agreed to buy RCA Corporation for $6.3 billion. Also included in the deal was NBC Radio and Television.
chaikwa.

Guud moornink - - gorgeous day here in Florida - - I think. It has been a Seattle fog for two days and more thru the weekend. Weird weather. Not that cold, but just huge banks of fog rolling in one after another. At least it doesn't leave that nasty white stuff on the ground.

Sorry about that white stuff, friend. Put that cutting shed on your truck, put a potty in it, call it a pickup camper and head to Florida. I couldn't help but wonder where that super fund money of Carter's is today????? HUH???? Anyone want to guess????? Probably long been spent on ACORN.

Hey, put on a fresh one of ph00 - - all gone. Come and get it. Also left some blueberry muffins on the counter - - the monster in the corner was moving so ya better get them before it does. Gotta run, have a gudurn.
Bob

a beautiful 18 degrees here (50 mph winds stopped last night). tractor trailers jack knifing both North and South curtailed my plans to head up to the city (Rochester, NY about 70 miles North) for fun and frolic.

Cincy, wants the computer so he knows how we talk about him when he's gone... I can't believe chaikwa called him sissy..../smack/
ripping through Christmas cookies and brownies with the son here, maybe i will bake ONE MORE time so I can have more than one.
