Wow, slow night. Morning all, I lit the burners and proped open the door. The dragon will let himself out. Somebody play fetch with him today, he's looking lonely. Just remember not to throw the ball in the direction of the parking lot. Lary's still fuming over what happened to his wife's car.

Morning everyone.

Today is Sunday, August 23rd.

On this day in 1838 - The first class was graduated from Mount Holyoke Female Seminary in South Hadley, MA. It was one of the first colleges for women.

1839 - Hong Kong was taken by the British in a war with China.

1858 - "Ten Nights in a Barroom" opened in New York City at the National Theater. It was a melodrama about the evils of drinking and our very own Fronty was the poster boy!

1904 - Hard D. Weed patented the grip-tread tire chain for cars. (Pay particular attention to the gentlemens name!)

1914 - Tsingtao, China, was bombarded as Japan declared war on Germany in World War I.

1939 - **** Germany and the Soviet Union signed a non-aggression treaty.

1944 - During World War II, Romanian prime minister Ion Antonescue was dismissed. Soon after the country would abandon the Axis and join the Allies.

1944 - Marseilles was captured by Allied troops during World War II.

Have a good Sunday!

chaikwa.

Mornin. Sorry I was not around last week, pretty busy...

Went shrimpin Friday afternoon, PAO shows up, takes pictures of the kids playing with the shrimp and a small net, then I catch a gar in my net...

I asked the girl to take a pic of me drinking beer... "Here is SSgt Morton enjoying a refreshing beverage on the peer."

Yesterday I went and worked for my neighbor and got broke the heck off... ain't worked for that in a while... think I got a little rhabdomyolysis.

Anyhow, gonna chill around here a little bit and try to flush my kidneys, this dude I met last week is supposed to come over tonight so I can look at his truck. Still trying to get some guys together around here.

Ok, I'm out to drink some more water...

Biscuits are in the oven, thinking bacon and eggs would go great with em.

Wifey is still sleeping, had a bachelorette party for a cousin of mine last night and it appears as if there is a high school marching band practicing in her head.

Thanks...

Yesterday I laid about a ton of mulch in 3 hours at a McDonald's by myself, and I was wore out. We did 2 yards after that, I was still moving at madhat speed, but I was running on reserves. Heck, it was the first time in 7 months that I did any kind of labor all day like that. (I know, I'm weak. You can say it.)

PAO is the Public Affairs Office, or the newspaper guys.

Google rabdo...
