I'm ready! She is really excited about it, I am too. I'm all about some school I like... I've drug my feet on it because I was not too excited, but now!

Afternoon, DTR! I did the deal on the hot tub, not a bad deal, either.

Ok, gonna go work on some stuff. See ya'll when I take over on the evening shift.

Better day today. Not a LOT better, but better none-the-less. No voice mail on cell phone because I don't WANT voice mail on yet another phone. I'm responsible for 3 of the lines that come into the office and each of them have their own voice mail. I don't need a 4th to further confuse me! Office line 1 has voice mail and forwards to my cell phone anyway, so in theory I should never miss a call unless I don't hear it, (like yesterday), and then it goes to voice mail.

Afternoon everyone. What're you all up to?

Evening everyone. Beautiful day here, the rain ended up missing up and got sun most of the day and 65* temps!

Talked with mom this morning, she was going to see grandpa so I went with. We took him to lunch at one of his favorite places today. He's going to the oncologist tomorrow and is going to refuse any chemo treatment. He'll take pain meds and do the bone infusions but wants to live out his days without the chemo and the pain that goes with it. Dr's are guessing he has about 6 good months left. I'm thinkin grandpa and I are gonna have to go on a fishing trip over a weekend here soon now the weather is getting nice. I agreew ith what grandpa wants, if I were in his position I would do the same thing.

Found out some info on that Mauser I recently obtained. Did some research and asked a few questions last night. It's a Mod 98, a K98 not a Gewehr 98. The gun was made by Steyr in 1943 but it has a sported stock not the original one the Germans used. It is a matching numbers gun, after a little cleaning this afternoon I found it's serial number stamped in the barrel, bolt, floor plate, and safety. From what I read the Germans marked them very well. I'm going to clean it up, probably re-blue it due to the exterior rust, and find the original style stock w/ butt plate and rings. I'm looking forward to this project, would be nice to have if cleaned up and looking good.

Well all, good news. Just put in my first day back at my old company. Forgot a bunch, but with Chaikwas chiding and harassment I'm sure most of it will shake loose!!!

Probably one of the best 160 mile drives I've had in a while...

Should be back on a rig by monday, doing my part to increase green house gasses, killing little rats or mice, polluting your waters and generally creating misery unlike any other profession in the world.

Man it feels great to be back!!!

Blake, you are the man, thank you for everything!!!

I would agree but we have the same red clay here. (reference the movie "My cousin Vinny")

Heidi, all safe here, been working out of town the last few weeks but that's over. You've been on vacation a loooong time.

Looks like some of the regulars have gotten some good news.

Matt, prayers still coming from here.
