wonder how many of the residents feel like corporate sellouts (there is a better word, but Im being family friendly)

How much was the city paid by dish network for the name change?

They didn't say what they were being paid, only that all the residents get 10 years of Dish for free. The mayor said that the town was dying and they heard about an off the wall offer from Dish to rename a town, this helped the town out a lot. Because of the rise of the satellite service the town was getting rather wide in the waist so the mayor instituted a program for the towns people to work out. They got an award for being the fittest town.

It is no lie it is about 15 miles from my hometown. This "town" is like a little community of about 50 trailer houses and a little airstrip.
