Evening DTR.

Spent the day with the GF then we went to her moms for dinner. Spent some time there, she's moving to Hattiesburg MS wednesday. She's only taking a few things with her for now and will move the rest of her stuff down after she comes back home for the wedding.

I see the breakroom was pretty lively today.

Still full from dinner but I am gonna relax for a bit and enjoy a Guinness or two. Might watch a movie, I'm thinking something from my Mel Brooks collection.

No, the porky voice was done by Mel Blanc. He did most of the looney toons voices like bugs bunny, tweetie, daffy duck and such.

I knew it was Mel someone. At least I had one name right!

Morning all. It's a Monday-Tuesday so get up and let's go!

Today is Tuesday, September 8th.

On this day in 1664 - The Dutch surrendered New Amsterdam to the British, who then renamed it New York.

1892 - An early version of "The Pledge of Allegiance" appeared in "The Youth's Companion."

1900 - Galveston, TX, was hit by a hurricane that killed about 6,000 people.

1934 - A fire aboard the liner Morro Castle off the New Jersey coast killed 134 people.

1935 - U.S. Senator Huey P. Long, "The Kingfish" of Louisiana politics, was shot and mortally wounded. He died two days later.

951 - A peace treaty with Japan was signed by 48 other nations in San Francisco, CA.

1952 - The Ernest Hemingway novel "The Old Man and the Sea" was published.

Coffee, tea and ph00 are ready. No donuts, you're all getting fat.

Thats the only thing Ive ever heard it called. We have and IH Cub with a 4ft belly mower on it. If it resides on the three point, we call it a grooming mower.

With all the sheep humor floating around in here and it being before my first cup of jeaux, I read this as - "Off to bed the flock then checktime"

Talk about a double take.

Mornin. Gettin some joe in the system, getting ready to go get an alignment. Gonna try to be productive today. Got a lot done yesterday, and a lot done this weekend.

Had a good time with Chris this weekend, but I feel bad for the poor guy... my fridge went out this weekend, and I had to use him to help me get a new one. Good times...

Ok, off to play...
