One of dads good friends has a small excavating business. His work got very slow and he was low bidding jobs to keep his couple guys working and makinga wage but he wasn't turning much of a profit. Eventually his business came to a halt, almost no work at all unless he skipped maintenance, cut pay, and rushed through jobs. instead of putting his equipment, reputation, and men at risk, he decided to lay them off till work picks up. Now in the mean time he is part of the local teamsters union and is leased out his dump truck and himself to a major project going on in my area. Actuallyalot of guys are turning in their machines for dump trucks and doing the same.

HO is 1:87 scale. Small but not very small.its about half the size of O scale (Lionel or American Flyer) N scale is even smaller. My model railroad stuff is all in HO scale, easy for me to work with but small enough to make a good sized layout.

ALWAYS THOUGHT THE AMERICAN TWO RAIL SETUP WITH THE LIONEL ENGINE & CARS WOULD HAVE BEEN THE NICEST SET UP

Yeah the 3rd rail makes it look less realistic, but I like the quality of the lionels more. Dad has a steam engine unit that uses a liquid smoke in it, I remember dummping too much in it when I was younger and smoking up the basement while running it
G'night DTR, I'm out for the night.
