NOPE, NO WAY JOSE. Gator tail does not taste like chicken - -much better. Opening day of hunting season in the glades is historically gator tail and swamp cabbage for the evening meal.

Same thing goes for potted meat.

But Vienna sausages are still ok...
My son was reminding us this weekend of the SPAM days. I was working full time and in college full time with three kids - - got kinda dicey when heading for the grocery store that the wallet didn't run on empty before the grocery cart did when checking out.

Got enough trimming done for today - - soaked with sweat. Not hot, just very wet out there. Looks a lot better. OK, heading for the pool.

I remember days like that when working at the S.O. Ramen noodle soup was my best friend. Walk down the aisle at the store with a calculator so that you dont go to bouncing checks.

And I do like me a fried spam sammich.

AHH Ramen noodle soup! I love that stuff! That was my meal of choice in college. I usually have some everyweek when i don't have the urge to cook or go out for food.

Afternoon DTRites. Had an interesting morning here, mom called me and said I had to go out and help dad asap. Guess someone stole his utility golf cart last night and went joy riding in it. He had it parked behind the shop last night where it's always parked. Who ever took it knew it was back there and they also knew to come in and leave through the back gate of his property. From what we saw they drove around through yards, a few fields, knocked over garbage cans, smashed a utility box, and then ditched the golf cart in a field about 3 miles away. We looked at it and the steering is trashed, some of the wiring was ripped off, and the front axle is bent. it's messed up good. Dad is pretty upset about it, I told him I can fix it and not to worry too much. He said they tried to take the diesel cart of his but couldn't get it started. He found it with the key on and the battery was dead. He is gonna park all his equipment in the shop overnight from now on. He's never had a problem before, but small stuff like this has been more frequent over the last few years. I guess the LEO's he talked to said there were a couple other golf carts stolen and ditched last night elsewhere in the county.

Looks like I'll have a project to work on for a while. I'll get some pictures of it later.

Afternoon DTR.

Sorry to hear about your dads cart, Matt.

In class now, about to start.

Gonna go home here in about an hour and grille some hot dogs, cook some beans and drink some beer. Life is good.

This professor is a liberal whack job. He started talking about healthcare and I confronted him on some questions. *crickets*....no answers. I'm angry. I refuse to listen to the guy anymore.

evening all..

talked my daughter into taking her car to the garage. They found a vacuum hose that had cracked and would open up occationally and kill the car.
She drove it to work and said its running much better.
