Morning Chris,
Just wanted to give you a little story about roadkill. When hunting season kicks up every weekend we make roadkill stew at the camp. The camp is about 15 miles south of town. Now, we are a little higher class of Cajun so we like fresh roadkill for our stews. And how do you get fresh roadkill you ask, simple.
What we do is bring all of our gear down to the camp. Get everything ready for the hunting and work up an appetite. When about ready to cook, we make a beer run into town. Now here is the important part. We take a couple of cans of that highway orange marking paint, and on the way into town put an orange X on all the roadkill. When we get to town, load up on the beer, and head back, we just pick up everything that doesnt have a big ole orange X on it...... Fresh roadkill

I've seen you... hard to believe there's ANYTHING you won't touch! <verbal judo indeed!>
Morning all. Getting a late start here due to having to get 'tree people' trucks running. They find it amazing that leaving lights on all night will kill batteries.
Today is Wednesday, September 9th.
On this day in 1776 - The second Continental Congress officially made the term "United States", replacing the previous term "United Colonies."
1836 - Abraham Lincoln received his license to practice law.
1850 - California became the 31st state to join the union.
1898 - In Omaha, NE, Tommy Fleming of Eau Claire, WI won the first logrolling championship.
1890 - Harland Sanders was born. He was the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
1893 - U.S. President Grover Cleveland's wife, Frances Cleveland, gave birth to a daughter, Esther. It was the first time a president's child was born in the White House.
1904 - Mounted police were used for the first time in the City of New York.
1919 - The majority of Boston's police force went on strike. The force was made up of 1,500 men.
1942 - Japan dropped incendiaries over Oregon in an attempt to set fire to the forests in Oregon and Washington. The forest did not ignite.
1943 - During World War II Allied forces landed at Taranto and Salerno.
1965 - French President Charles de Gaulle announced that France was withdrawing from NATO to protest the domination of the U.S. in the organization.
1971 - Inmates seized control of the Attica Correctional Facility near Buffalo, NY. Nine prisoners were held hostage and died along with their 32 captors when the prison was stormed four days later.

I like being bald, its easy to maintain. Not all of us like to pretend we are Harry from "Harry and the Hendersons"!
But just for you, here is a rare picture of me WITH hair....
"Pic removed due to strange feeling that ratl is gonna photoshop some type of S&M sheep action into it...."
I actually know what it is, just very doubtful that Ive ever had a 'good' bowl of it.
Yeah your right.... and just mad cause Im turning into the Snappy Comeback Ninja!

I cant even imagine how much bologna I ate as a kid and now I cant even force myself to buy it, much less make a sandwich with it.
Same thing goes for potted meat.
But Vienna sausages are still ok...
