Deee Ta Deeee!!!!

WELP I had a moment last night at about 10:30PM (EDIT!!! It was a tramatic night!).......

I went to talk with one of our vendors, to check out the new shop he is building. Well.....when i left, I decided to take the road less traveled like any good off-roader would do. I did a U-E up on the dirt hill in fnt of the shop and came back down the hill to get to the dirt road. WELP.....I though I hit a rock....cuz I didn’t hear nothing. BUT the truck would not go fwd....so I did what anybody would do......YUP....put it in 4WD! Well I tried to get over what I though was a rock.....and started to climb it until I see the guy that owns the shop come running up to me waving his hands and telling me to STOP!!!!! SO I did.......backed up.....heard a pop, crunch.........got out......only to see my left fnt corner of my fnt bumper pulled out 1.5 FEET! Almost 90*!!! Then I looked to see the Fire Hydrant with tire marks on it.........the only obstruction with in 300 feet or so............

SOOOO anyone that has a lead on a 2nd gen fnt bumper in the MO, OK, TX area............

MAN! I cant even blame it on beer.......I was sober when this happened! Im just glad it hit the corner....not the middle!

Those pesky fire hydrants will jump right out in front of you like that, when you aren't looking

I did that 4 days after putting new nerf bars on my truck. Climbed a rock I knew was there but never saw. Nearly ruined a 4 day old Westin nerf bar, but it saved the rocker panel. Dumb dumb dumb.

I did something similar in my 1500 years ago... Only my bumper was mostly fine, I climbed the rock, and bent my front axle housing, bent the output shaft on the stering gear box. Not good.
