Unfortunately no. That would be great if you could but I would imagine that the PC players would own the Xbox players because of the mouse/keyboard setup.
Our internet was down for a little while at the station yesterday so I played the SP (<---check that out!) for a little while. I'm up to the sniping part but the internet came back so I started playing online. I like the SP and I play a lot like you do so it will take me a little time to finish it. But I play pretty methodical (tactical) on the multiplayer also and I usually own on that. What people don't seem to understand online is this isn't Halo. I run from cover to cover and pick out good firing lanes and these kids just try to run and gun and I will own them every time. My goal is to have a positive K/D spread after every game. If you don't do that then your are not helping the team. Right now my K/D spread over all is 1.51 so I'm killing much more than dying. By the way, I've maxed out all the assault rifles and the M-16 with stopping power and deep impact is the best set up in my opinion. The only time this set up isn't good is in close combat because of the 3 round burst instead of full automatic. On a map like Vacant, the M-4 with stopping power and a Martyr grenade is the best for me.
I agree that a PC is better than a console for hard core gaming. I just don't possess the skill that is required to play on a PC.

I got stuck in the sniping part(very end) because I tried to get too cute with it... I really wasted a bunch of time on it and it certainly hurt my completion time.
The one thing that has always deterred me from playing multiplayer is the run and gun aspects of it... I believe it all started back with Unreal... the only way to play was run and gun, rack up the kills... that game was immensely fun though. Same thing with Counterstrike.. great game but it's mostly run and gun...
If you like the SP version of COD4, have you ever played the Ghost Recon series??

I played GRAW 2 and really enjoyed it. Very seldom do I buy a game for the single player though. I'm competitive by nature and just enjoy killing others online.

That is the one thing that I really like about this game. There is no run and gun... well I say that... the people that try to do it I will own in a heart beat. I love running up against these people (helicopter support comes quick with these matches). They make the game really easy. The people that play tactical (like me) are a little harder to deal with.

IMO, GRAW was very good... GRAW2 was even better. Then again, I really like single player games with good storylines.

I got my 360 in December '05 and it hasn't had any problems since I've had it. I've busted a few controllers but the console itself is running great. My cousin has had to have his replaced 3 times so I guess I'm lucky.

I have one of the launch boxes. Had a hard life. Got the 3 rings a couple weeks ago. Would freeze in minutes, not on long enough to get hot. Started digging around in my settings and found I was forcing an odd resolution on my new monitor. Changed the res and no problems since.

I haven't even got my UPS coffin box to send it back. Here I called it in 11/14, its 11/21 and still no box.

just checked tracking, mine is on its way to me again, but for some reason, it went from IL to newark NJ ( bout ten miles away) to Philly PA 9 bout 80 miles away) then I guess they will send it to Parsippany NJ to get loaded onto a truck, sure did waste a day sendin it to philly, my x box must have wanted a cheese steak ! guess there will be no deliveries tomorrow, and it should get backto me friday, just hope it lasts longer than 18 hrs like last time 
side note, when I dropped mine off at the ups store, there were 5 other coffin boxes sittin behind the counter, all ready to go for repairs!

We'll my refurbished xbox 360 just died again, 3 r.o.d. Same deal, lasted 3 yrs then dead, from Nov 2007 to now.
Runs easy and cool in basement, open air, extra Intercooler fans. How frustrating, out of warranty to boot. I'm ready to bag everything, but your stuck with all the games you bought, thats the suck part.
What do you guys think, is the elite better? Get a new one with warranty?
If I send it in, its $99. Watch is blow up in a month my luck.

I traded mine in for a PS3 slim. Got tired of all the Xbox problems. There are a few games that I miss on the Xbox but not enough to deal with all the Xbox problems. Besides God Of War III is amazing.

Hey check this out. I went to Walmart, they have a rollback on 360 console, was $199, now $149. Plus you get a $50 gift card So its really $100.
If i did the Microsoft fix it was $99 anyways, and then you don't get a warranty.
I went ahead and got a new one, you get the 1yr warranty and I added 2yr plan protection afterwards for $19. You really can't beat that deal.
I can sell my broken one on ebay maybe also.
Good timing I guess. Hope this one lasts atleast for a while. Wish someone sold a higher power fan, I have the lastest self powered thermal Intercooler fan, its ok, but could pull more air.

i to this day have never had an xbox die of the 3 red lights. i have two and one was out of the first few batches. it was the old loud 20gigs and it had plenty of problems but none were warranty. its i dont know how many years old now haha.

Well the red ring of death is caused by the video heat sink overheating and causing the chip to desolder itself and come off the PCB.
They do make new enclosures for the XBox (NewEgg carries them) to help eliminate the overheating issues these consoles have but you kill your warranty when you open the case. The best bet would be to get your system repaired and dump it into a better case so that it doesn't overheat anymore. I plan on doing this to mine since I bought it over here in Iraq.
