DC needs to take notice

If this goes thru, it could put GM back in the auto game in a big way.
Carlos Ghosn done wonders to turn Nissan around. If he does the same for GM and gets rid of alot of the bloat, turn their vehicles into what people want at a lower price than the competition, it could bad for the competition.

When Chrysler did it with Mercedes, mercedes was in the black. Nissan and Renault are both losing money, hard to see it benifitting GM

they may be down for this year, I haven't followed them that closely.

Its my understanding that all automakers are not seeing the growth they expected, but I dont think globally, very many are loosing money.

I would love to see somebody at GM that thought good looking vehicles that last might sell.

I doubt chevy will get a cummins, but maybe Chevy and GMC will stop trying to be competition with each other.
GMC used to be the work truck while Chevy was the nice truck.
Maybe the Colorado will get a small diesel to go with its inline 5.
Hopefully, they will bring back the quality and just get rid of the fluff from Delphi. I mean really, have you driven a chevy lately? it will do everything for you except scratch your butt and they are probably working on that for 07

Would be nice to get rid of the Isuzu engine and get a Toyota Inline 6.
