I was sittin' here goin' over the posts and got so involved that I forgot that I had some spuds on the stove :-[ :-[ (makin' breakfast, fried potatoes and eggs) and now they are BURNT :'( :'(. It is ALL YOUR FAULT. You guys could have made me burn the house down!!!!! Right before Christmas and everything..............SHEESH!!!!!!!

She's working while your at home on the DTR and cooking up a storm????.......hmmm....whats your secret?? I obviously MUST be doing something wrong !!

Serves you right for getting up so late! If you had breakfast sooner, there wouldn't have been so much to catch up on!

 

Potatoes (red skin) and eggs sound good for dinner. Don't get to have a real breakfast on work days.

 

Waddya mean, "gettin' up so late"? I'll have you know that I was up at 6AM, got both my son and daughter up for school, helped my son study for a spelling test, drove daughter to school, got back home and found out that my son "forgot" some homework which caused him to miss the bus (another trip to school) AND went to physical therapy. All that before breakfast. Why are you home to post on this anyhow, Redleg???? Shouldn't you be at work now??? Atleast I have a medical reason to be home. To be honest, I wish I was back at work instead of sittin' at home. So far since Sept. I have lost about $10,000 in lost wages. Disability is ok, but it sure gets to be BORING.
BTW, the potatoes weren't red skins they were Idaho browns.

 

I am at work, I can type and talk on the radio or phone at the same time. Usually because I know what they want before they do. Got red skins waiting at home, might make some pancakes to go with it. Have to remember to pick up some cider. Hour and half to go....
