Has anyone ever seen these in the flesh?

A luxury RV that is 6 wheel drive, Cummins powered, with bullet proof windshield and landmine protection?

Interesting that DC chose to power this Mercedies with Cummins.

Anyone know if they are going to be available in the US? (Out of my price range anyway, I'm sure)...

 

i have seen a few unimogs like that in Canada manily in the bush. all had straight six's in them never noticed if they were Cummins or not though they were all covered top to bottom with a nice layer of mud. good trucks and why not put the best engine in them they are the best trucks in the world.

 

Heck, it's just 300 000 Euro for a second hand one with the small MB 240hp engine- peanuts

 

this is one that is here in b.c. I'm not sure what's up with all the armour but what the heck, to each his own.... You wouldn't be too afraid to park the thing in a bad neighbourhood.

edited to add: the front page on that website doesn't give enough detail of the rig. turns out (through a bit of digging on there) that it is an oshkosh the guy built for his wife that is in a wheelchair.
