Cedar Park, TX PD Officer LODD

On 8/18/10 One of out PD officers was out with his FTO today cause he had just transfered into motor patrol. still under investigation but while they were out training he lost control of his bike. My hats off to his FTO who was performing CPR when FD arrived on scene. CPR was being performed while in route to the ER once there they got him into emergency OR where they were able to stop most of the internal bleeding, he was transfered into ICU where a few hours later he passed away. Prayers needed for CPPD, CPFD, And for the Family of Officer Reed. His wife and two kids will need a lot of payers. Officer Reed was awarded Officer of the Year in 2008 after joining the CPPD in 2006. Officer Reed past on 8/18/10

Thanks,
Eric
Cedar Park, TX

Sorry to hear this. As a cycle crash survivor, prior LEO, and working daily with motor officers, I can sympathize. Best wishes.

Here is a little news clip of just how many people came out to show their support. We were able to have a few other city's cover for us to all be able to attend. it was very moving to see all the different agencies out to show they care, and to pay their respects to a fallen Brother.... will post more pics and vids as i get them.
