Heading out tomorrow for a week of R&R on St. Simon's Island Georgia. Early flight .
Thought Friday would never get here. Wanted to go into "ramp down" mode before the vacation, but everything hit the fan this week.

Just finished breakfast (spicy snausage on toast & coffee)....MMMMmmmmm, yummy.

Headin' out in a few to cut grass, got 1/2 of it done last evening.

Gotta make a fuel run today.
It's been about three weeks since the last one.
30 gallons @ $2.15gal in fuel cans & commuting on the Geezer-Glide ($10 week) helps take the edge off the local fuel prices ($2.39gal).

Beautiful weather this morning.
Temps ~ 60, heading for the low 80s.........T-storms due in by 1400 hrs.
All rain gutters cleaned out, basement stairwells swept, drain pipes securly attached to the downspouts.
Let 'er Rip.

Draggin again today. Volunteered to go in early yesterday and got held 5 hours over at the end to...... need as much beuty sleep as I can get these days. Kaley isn't happy with the O.T. either. Been getting the much needed rain though. Got the planting bug though. Picked up some perennials to put in. Not sure the frost is done for any veggies yet. Planning on at least tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberrys and a few blueberry bushes.

 

Spent all morning getting the 4 wheeler unstuck from the snow. ... A little to much left on the ground up north at the property, so the bear baiting station will have to wait till next weekend to get set up. .....Looks like I'll load up the gold sluice box/pan&bucket and head south to do some prospecting for GOLD! Yeah I got the gold bug flu. I'll steal the diggy camera from my sis inlaw and snap some shot's.
